About me
I have a Masters Degree in Psychotherapy from the University of Kent and a Post Graduate Diploma in couple counselling from London Marriage Guidance.
I work with both couples and individuals with a variety of problems including anxiety, stress, depression, addiction, bereavement and partnership issues. In addition I have worked extensively in the area of abusive relationships and psychosexual difficulties.
My background is in psychodynamic psychotherapy in which we explore the past to understand how it might have shaped and influenced our thinking in regard to the present. In the sessions we work towards reframing those thoughts and feelings in order to enable choices and effect changes in the here and now.
Sessions last for 50 minutes and are conducted in complete confidentiality. They can take place one or more times a week as required. The therapy may be for a short, fixed number of sessions or require a more open-ended approach.
I have an established reputation among doctors, therapists and other professional organisations. I am also registered with private medical insurers who may be able to fund your sessions.
My consulting rooms are convieniently located in Berkeley Square, Greenwich and Canary Wharf, where I offer day and evening appointments.
